MAYA recommends that every yoga instructor be covered by adequate liability insurance. Whenever you apply for insurance: (1) keep a complete copy of your application, (2) if you send a check, write the check number on the application and write the name of the insurance company on the memo line of the check, and (3) be certain you receive and retain written proof of coverage.
